Story

It all started when Authvaldr nearly killed a Moogle with a stray arrow...Never the most popular or well regarded among his fellow Viera, the near-accident sent Authvaldr into a state of rightful panic. Through a series of hijinks, he found himself in debt to the Moogle he almost killed, Ulf. It was their unlikely friendship that had initially influenced him to leave Othard and head to Eorzea in search of adventure.Having been quite the recluse even by Viera standards, he seemed to make more enemies than friends at first. He often but heads with law enforcement and monetarist sympathisers in Ul'dah. He was about to be run out of the city until he had unwittingly come to the aid of members of the Immortal Flames- including Vice Marshal Tarupin himself.

A true philanthropist

Almost contradictory, besides his reputation as an astute businessman, the other thing Aringrimr is most known for in Kugane is his generosity. Some would even describe it as excessive as he rarely hesitates to help anyone who asks.

The Crown's Proprietor

As the proprietor of the Crown of Lesalia, he has free reign on all hiring decisions as well as what clients to take. Despite being a talent agency/artist collective, it would seem as though talent isn't even particularly required to join.

Been around the block

An unexpected benefit of his race's long lifespans is that Arin is one of the most experienced businessmen in Kugane— purely because of how long he's been there. His memory is also as sharp as ever.

A Family Man

Arin is affectionately called 'Dad' by some of the members of the Crown of Lesalia, and while that nickname is often said in jest, Arin is incredibly family-oriented.Not only does he consider those in his free company a part of his found family, he is also the loving eldest brother of four other siblings, and he has to actively stop himself from acting like too much of a doting parent to everyone he cares for. (Typical eldest sibling complex.)

To use it for evil

Although just an all-around softie at heart, Arin is able to use his skills for more untoward purposes with ease. Not that he would want to, but if it was for a good enough cause, there's no telling the amount of fraud, embezzlement and forgery he could get away with. Luckily, he hasn't yet found a compelling enough reason to do so.

Arin is pretty much an open book... except on the topic of why he loses a substantial amount of money every month like clockwork. Given his mild-mannered and easy-going nature, many might have guesses as to what secret altruistic purpose the money serves. Still, very few would accurately guess that that money was going directly to Dalmascan freedom fighters to bankroll the resistance effort.
